Whatever happened to Truth?
As he stood before the firing squad, he blest them and said: “God does not die” and then a final “Viva Cristo Rey.” Padre Pro had been underground bringing Christ the King to a people enslaved the modernist spirit of the world as expressed through the many faces of Jewish elitism. When Pilate was questioning Jesus concerning His Kingship, the Lord replied that He came to give testimony to the truth. His testimony brought Him to the throne of the Cross. What ever happened to Truth?
The poet says:
One day I found Him fettered on a tree,
He turned and looked and beckoned me.
For pity sake, I thought, I’ll set you free,
Nay said He, take this cross and follow me.
Not hard not grievous if you bear it tight,
And so did I follow Him Who could not move,
Uncaught victim in the Hands of Love.
Love must be crucified to attain the kingship of the heart. My kingdom is not of this world for if it were of this world my subjects would fight to protect me but my kingdom is not of this world. Our Lord’s kingdom is of the heart with all those who seek the Truth. Where is Truth to be found these days?
Is it in the mouth of the politicians as they seek to sell their constituents on the value of a global government, a global justice system and a global world faith organization? Is it in the mouth of the financiers who established the Central Banks in each country to feed the mouth of war in order to build up their coffers? Is it on the tongues of our religious leaders who now wish to erase every serious sin and eliminate any doctrine that can cause a division between the Catholic church and the many denominations that roam the face of the earth Who is telling us the Truth these days?
Look for these qualities in the author of words or the speaker in the pulpit. The one who cries out the truth is one in his doctrine and one in the sacrifice offered for the forgiveness of sins. He is holy because he has separated himself from the world and its ways and seeks to do all for God, our Father. He is truly Catholic for his cry is to all men and women to follow the path of Christ to the suffering of the Cross. He wants all to be saved through the Blood of the Lamb. He is Apostolic for he desires to go to every nation and every person and bring those souls to their true home in the Catholic faith. If any of these qualities is missing then you ought to avoid that person whether he be Pope, Cardinal, Bishop, Priest or lay evangelist. The Catholic faith is a seamless garment and if you are wrong on any point then the garment unravels completely. Where then is the Truth? Christ Jesus is the One Who testifies to the truth and does it by laying down His life for the word revealed. God so loves us that He gave His only begotten Son to experience a cruel and inhuman death for the sake of the souls that would respond to the Truth. Truth now is in the hearts of all those who will not compromise with the words of our Lord. Truth is with the soul that humbles itself before God and expresses his faith in his love for his neighbor. Truth is in the love of our Blessed Mother who was given to us from the New Adam hanging on a tree. Truth then is in the mind of all who have come to know Christ Jesus and Him crucified. May this world of ours return to the kingship of Christ and return to the sanity that reason respects.
May the world at large lay down its rebellious arms and on their knees cry out the Truth: Viva, Cristo Rey! May He reign in our hearts and may we seek to serve only Him throughout the days of our life.
In the hearts of Jesus, Mary and Joseph,
