Second Sunday After Easter 2021

Where is the good Shepherd? He has laid down His Life for the sheep who recognized His Voice and followed His lead. Many shepherds would rise from the One Who like the grain of wheat fell to the ground and died. Now they rise up ready to follow the goodness that no human can achieve without the Love of the Master. So where is the good shepherd today? Is he the Pope? Is he a cardinal…or a bishop…or a priest? We must do an investigation to locate the good shepherds and follow their lead.

In the first clue we notice that the Good Shepherd defines His goodness by the act of laying down His life in order to protect the sheep. He recognizes the approaching wolf and will not allow that demonic creature to snatch a single soul from His flock. Instead, He will do battle with the evil one and pay the price to preserve the flock. This conflict is surrounding the flock
at this very moment. The evil one cries out “Covid” and the flock must seek out the means to maintain health. The deceiver drives out the confidence in the Good Shepherd and proclaims a vaccine will guard you.

In this environment the good shepherd will expose the lies of the world and the devil and lead souls to the freedom that comes from the knowledge of the truth. God is greater than any virus and greater than any globalist. We must trust in His Love for us and follow in His footsteps.

In the second place we find the hirelings who hear what the world has to say and they fall in line and act out of fear and faith falls by the wayside. Hirelings are a dime a dozen but how they exposed themselves last Lent (2020). They will close the churches, mask at Mass, keep a social distance of 6-6-6. All the while they will call it “charity” for the health of my neighbor. All the while rejecting to listen to front line doctors (Dr. Simone Gold, Dr. Shiva, Dr. Buttar,…). These truthful doctors name the cures and warn of the dangerous bio-weapons that the establishment calls ‘vaccines”. Yes, we have plenty of hirelings who continue to this day pretending that they are “good” shepherds.

These are times that demand silence and contemplation. For these times I prepared a contemplative series of thoughts for each day of Lent. Forty words to help you and myself enter into the contemplative mind set and discover the Lord in an intimate way. Many have found them useful and are offering a forty-dollar donation for a gsb device possessing each thought. The funds will
go to pay off the Oratory’s debt for the new pews. If you would like the 40 words then contact me within the next two weeks and we will send out these devices after 30 days.

We are now preparing for the month of our Lady and we need prayer warriors to follow the footsteps of the good Shepherd and pray the rosary in reparation for the sins of abortion, child trafficking, rebellion in the streets, and so much more. Please join us in spirit on May 15th in downtown St. Cloud at Lake George. We will begin at 12:00 sharp so send your guardian angel if you are unable to attend.

In the hearts of Jesus, Mary and Joseph,

Fr. Richard Voigt
